About The Skipper

Meet Keis Patterson

For over fifteen years, Keis Patterson has led technical transformation inside some of the nation's largest healthcare systems, including Children's of Alabama, Vitruvian Health, WellStar Health Systems, AdventHealth, Cleveland Clinic, NYC Health + Hospitals, Johns Hopkins, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a PMP certified Epic Senior Project Manager, he has directed full life cycle implementations, managed teams of technical leads and field technicians, and guided hospital systems through complex mergers, acquisitions, and go lives affecting thousands of devices and the clinicians who depend on them.

His work has always centered on the same core skill: building bridges. Between application teams and executive leadership. Between vendors and frontline staff. Between what a system needs and what the people inside it can actually carry out. That same instinct for structure, trust, and forward motion is what built The Wandering Skipper.

Today, Keis is expanding that leadership beyond the hospital walls, into real estate development, community and faith building, and storytelling that reflects the full arc of transformation. The Wandering Skipper is where that next chapter lives.
